The Good Neighbourhood Project is seeking a Commons Coordinator to support community-led work at the Labuan Square Neighbourhood Commons in Norlane. This part-time, hands-on role is focused on building connection, reducing isolation, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive neighbourhood space.

Working alongside local residents, volunteers, and TGNP’s leadership team, the Commons Coordinator will help design and deliver small, practical programs and initiatives that strengthen relationships and support community wellbeing, with a particular focus on older residents. The role involves coordinating activities and events, supporting and equipping volunteers, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the Commons.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in community development or volunteer coordination who is relational, values-driven, and comfortable working in a strengths-based, participatory way. You’ll be joining a purpose-driven organisation committed to love, hospitality, generosity, and community-led change, and play a meaningful role in helping a neighbourhood thrive.
